Sorry I did not have time to read this until now as I only really venture online during office hours; I cannot possibly allocate any time from my social life to playing on ax, hence the delayed response.

I am not sure what the slang 'div' is used for up north but here it means stupid; obviously everyone is entitled to an opinion on an open user message board but I think that is inaccurate.
I actually went out in Newcastle for a couple of nights on a stag do last month, I realise this was only 72 hours so not a full calendar week however, since you live there I would be foolish not to take your word for it as I do not know the area.
That being said, Newcastle is hardly the hub of UK Information Technology and we do not have any data vaults in that part of the country due to the lack of ISO 27001:2005 standard Peer 1 centers in the surrounding areas.
I also do not intend spending any annual leave there as a summer holiday of sorts due to the weather so I think we can rule that one out.

I was a little perplexed by the post because the UKMF has an account on ax that various infamous posts came from. I believe that the owner of the username and password may have now left the UKMF but I am sure can pass the account details on to some current members of the body.
