Klitschko brothers....I have been looking around at these guys. Man both are educated well spoken guys. Vladimir has a phd and speaks 4 languages fluently. Saw him on espn2 fights friday. No bullshit flapping their gums around and acting like a pimp. mmmm, what fighters should be. jmho.

nobody...they are my new heros...I can't to see them backyard cleaning the top 10 heavyweights. This is good news for boxing, because as long as there is no threat for Lewis, the big money in boxing would decreased. In saying that, Wladimir Klitchko is probably good enough to beat Lewis today, but they probably won't do that. He would go on a clean up job of the top ten before Lewis. This is also a good strategy for boxing (heavyweights). If he fights Lewis tomorrow, regardless on who won, it won't do any good to heavyweight boxing, as far as money concerns. Everytime he KOs a top contender on HBO, he would add on a zero to his fight purse, once he gets to fight Lewis.

Before there was nothing left for the heavyweight fight fans to look forward to. Now we have a guy who is up there with Lewis, as Lewis and Klitcho are bars above the top 10 contenders, with the exception of his brother Vitali. It now gives something for the fight fans to look forward to. This will help to maintain the interest in the heavyweight division. I thought after Lewis beat Tyson so easy, the heavyweight would slump. I can imagined all these money hungry promoters hangs around Klitchkos like a bad smell after the Mercer's fight..LOL!

They also promised their mum that they will never fight again.

During the 1994 Olympic, Vitali was the first choice to represent Ukeraine. He got injured, and Wladimir took his place and won the gold medal in Atlanta. He fought a friend of mine, Paea Wolfgram of Tonga at the final.

They also promised their mum that they will never fight each other...

Paea Wolfgram just fought one of them last year and lost by KO. Paea said the hang around until he left. He said they are genuinely decent blokes. It's not acting on media but for real.

Did anyone see the fight, excellent fight
But one thing, I'd wish someone smack the (swear word)
out of Larry Merchant, and that other wanker Jim Lampley

larry merchant can be really annoying. i have to admit that lampley has
improved a lot over the years and he actually throws out some insights
now and then!
after the mercer fight, vladimir said that he was ready to fight lewis now,
but his promoter wanted him to fight a couple of other contenders first.
at least now there is some real excitement in the division!

I've seen Barrington Patterson fight him....and only just lose....and it was on dubious circumstances!

I've also seen Pele Reid KO Vitaly with a jump spinning hook kick to thte jaw - not bad when you consider that Vitaly Klishkov is nearly 7 foot!!! He was pole axed......down and in trouble...stretchered off...and everyone recons he'll be the one to watch for Lennox Lewis' crown!!! Not with that jaw!!!

Bit more info...

Pele fought him at the WAKO European Light Continuous Championships in Bulgaria in 1994 ish...

Barrington fought him at hte WAKO World Championships 1996ish in Kiev, Ukraine in the final - he wasn't ready, we had all lived off vinegered carrot all week, and somebody called him to the ring in front of about 6,000 spectators to fight the final!! In came Vitaly, warmed up - Barrington wasn't even changed! He got changed in the crowd, and jumped in the ring for his final! He lost on points...but only because he wasn't ready!

I think Vitali is the better of the 2 brothers as well. His chin makes me wonder as well as his heart
