Just watched Skarbowsky -v- Kaoponlek

Hi Colin just watched this fight on video (which you sent me - thankyou very much). Kaoponlek has a great body kick (and high!) but i found that he doesnt have much of a guard - but he is a hard as nails - arent they all?

What are peoples opinions on Skarbowsky aswell - i think he has great combinations and looks like he will become a great Muay Thai fighter. I would like to know a little bit about him. Does anyone have any details on him?

Thanks again Colin for the video!

Skarbowsky is one of the big stars in THA right now, a great guy too. His style more of a banger style.

L to R Rudolf Darica,Jean Starborski,Dynamo and i'm not sure Dynamo is that the one and only Marian? At the indoor stadium Bangkok last month for the amatuers.
Rudolf fought up here in Ubon sunday on a show during Songkran festival,he knocked his 1 st opponent out rd 1 with an elbow and then was challenged by someone else in the crowd, who he knocked out in the 3rd!

keiran.
Jeannot is already a great fighter. Ranked No1 in Rajadamnern (was No2 for quit a while).
I have covered quite a few of his fights for Duffy's site. I speak to him now and again, but he doesn't speak very good English so conversation is limited.
But he is grateful to know that several of us follow and suport his carreer.
He is an action fighter, and wreckless to the extent that his record would be even better if he prioritised safety a little more.
He fights "the muaythai style" and always hunts the ko.
I have tapes of his fights, everyone of them exciting. he's a nice guy as well. Hates loosing, and gets emotional about losses, hence his announced retirements that don't happen:-)

The first time I saw JCS was in Vegas. he fought Robert from Thailand. Behind the scenes as the fighters were preparing to fight I looked at him and thought "Boy! you are in for a rough night".. He had a centre part in his greased hair and looked like someone from a 1930`s movie!

I watched him fight and became an instant fan!

As Colin says..he can be reckless to the point of suicidal, but man he is exciting to watch!

Oh yeah, and he ko`ed Robert in the first!

I had never read that report, but it amuses me that we both use the same word to describe him!

" Skowboski committed himself to a practically suicidal punch attack"

Tell me more guys i.e where does he train in France & Thailand , fight record , more opponents he has faced , Manager (prob Kebchi & Songchai) etc, etc.

Also does anyone know more about Kaoponlek and opponents he has faced etc etc. I am always trying to keep up with welters at my weight around the world and these seem to be some of the best.
