Whats the deal with the Lebanner/Sapp bout? K-1 AND MMA rules? How does that work?

I just watched it...

Sapp has to move on. He is going to loose too many brain cells taking those shots. I know he is just doing this for the money, but he need to take a different road.

The best fight was definitely Masato vs Kid Yamamoto for the K-1 event.

After this event i don't see i great future for Cyil Abidi. He lost against a television star!!

Mark Hunt vs Wanderlei Silva from what i heard was also a great match. Maybe the best in this Pride event.

Congratualtions to Mark Hunt, that's awesome to see him beat a well respected opponent in Pride. I hope he keeps the hard training up and continues to do well. Nice one bro!

Sonik, Abidi was actually injured for the fight and was booked in to have an opperation on his leg on Monday.

Not to mention the rules of the fight themselves were heavily stacked against him from the start.

Hum didn't know about that. But if that's the case then why did accept the offer?

Money.

He was originally supposed to fight Akiyama but it was changed at the last minute due to Bernardo dropping out.

I guess it was seen as an easy pay day. You`ll notice before the fight they didn`t show any video of him training like they like to....because when TBS went to France to record 10 days before the event, he still couldn`t walk well and wasn`t able to train at all.
