If you are interested in putting fighters on this show please let me know.
** THIS SHOW IS OPEN TO ALL GYMS (who can fight under Muay Thai rules), ESPECIALLY THOSE GYMS IN THE EAST OF ENGLAND.
We will be offering 3 x 2 min fights for those gyms wanting to use this old format, all other fights will remain in previous format of 5 x 1.5 min fights.
I would like to extend an open welcome to any Muay Thai instructors out there, that would like to attend for free.
Please get in contact with me first, your name will be put down on the guest list.
Your in Muay Thai ~ Kru Ryan
can definately recommend this - well run and using the 5 x 1.5 format is (in my opinion) a far better a) experience for the fighters b) better spectacle as less 'windmill dave' occurs...due to having to pace the fight...
we will be there.
Eagles Team Thai will of course be in attendance
East London Muay Thai are in..
Hi all,
please be aware that on the up and coming event (and all future events) there will be a UKMF Licensing Officer inspecting licenses.
The Licensing Officer will want to see all fighters up to date UKMF licenses during registration.
If your fighter does not currently hold an up to date UKMF license, please ensure you make arrangements asap!
For those of you who may not have time to make arrangements, you may purchase a license for your fighter on the day of the event (£10).
Please understand that this is a must to ensure all fighters details are recorded accurately, and to ensure an additional element of safety.

ryan i was gunna come with some lads, six but i wanted my two sons in it 18qiud each +fuel and a day off work it will cost me 150
Sorry Martin,
it is all part of the new UKMF movement to get everyone who competes at any level licensed.
My hands are tied.
Who do your lads have their licenses with at the moment?
If you get them licensed before the day it would cost you/them alot less.
Ryan
no offence mate, they have no license with anyone ,just wanna a knock around
for a few beginers like youve done before a confidence builder for fights in the future nothing to serious.
i dont now if i can go up to the parents and tell them its 18 quid and they got to drive.might put them of however if my lads fight in a proper ukmf fight with judges then i will get them licences.
Sorry Martin.. still nothing I can do at this stage.
Emails for this have just gone out, if you did not receive one and would like to attend.
Then please get in contact with me at the above address.

sorry Ryan, confusion reigns but it is late :oS
I thought the UKMF was going to honour existing insurance arrangements that clubs had until they expire. Diesel members are already insured and that policy has sometime to run before I can ask members to renew with the UKMF. Does that mean they can't participate until the current commitments expire and are renewed with the UKMF.

Hey Cliffy,
The Gym/Instructor Insurance will be honoured till it expires.
However, student to student insurance needs to be with the UKMF.
So fighters who compete on a UKMF Show/Event need to have a UKMF license.
To answer your question...
The fighters you put forward for this interclub will need a UKMF license on the day, but your gyms/instructor insurance can remain as agreed with the UKMF.
Hope that helps.
Ryan
Personally speaking it not actually that helpful as it only protects the cost on my own personal instructors insurance - however all my students that wish to take part on UKMF will have to be re-licenced, that is, have to pay twice and hold two licences and insurance policies this year.
This is the one thing I wanted to avoid.
I think it is going to be hard enough for a gym such as ours which provides Muay Thai, BJJ and MMA to have source now a separate licence and insurance policy for Muay Thai students to the rest of the gym members and infact where some students compete in multi-disciplines will have to have separate insurance polices and licences for each discipline.... but now for this year the Muay Thai competitors will have to hold 2x polices for purely Muay Thai (the current one we have and now the UKMF).
