In Thailand the trainers spray water over the canvas to improve stability and stop slipping. Due to the heat they only have to do it at the start of the session as water and sweat keep it moist for the rest of the session.

Im sure if you just sprayed the canvas at the start of the session, it should be fine.
Alternatively, get people to wear trainers or boxing boots in the ring to scuff it up and that should make it less slippy.
