Johnny T's Show
As it has been mentioned on other threads to let it be known when you are doing a show so as not to coincide with others, we were originally planning to hold our next event on Feb 28. We have since discovered there is another show in the same area on the same day so we have now changed ours to the 21st Feb.
All fighters will be paid as well as the ticket deal. As before, the tickets will be cheap. It will be semi-pro as well as pro and hopefully there will be some area title fights.

If you struggle to match some on yours? put them on ours if you cant match or they get let down? and if any / too many fighters for My / Our Bolton IKON Thai Boxing Champoionships IV Feb: 28th: the Sunday after yours, then you can have the ones we cant match as we usually have far too many to match ! ( which is a good thing )

Sandy, didnt get text, must have got lost somewhere along the way. Would have been quite happy to refer fighters to your show if couldnt match up, but as it stands at the moment, all current list of fighters are matched up...Or so I thought, until I have just been told about some dirty tricks being played!! Not happy!!
3 fighters who were on my show have been told if they dont fight on your Ikon show then they cant fight at Reebok! Our show has been in the diary since well before Christmas and the match ups were already pencilled in then. 2 of these fights were for Area Titles. Just hope the same doesnt happen with the rest of my line up. Were you aware of any of this?
Re the date, we had booked the 28th way before Christmas, then changed it so it wouldnt coincide with your show.

Chalky, venue will be the same as the last show - Tonge Ward Labour Club, tickets will be £15 each (slightly dearer than last time as ALL fighters will be paid). Got some excellent fights on and also some title fights.

Firstly no dirty tricks have been played by anybody, a offer was put to a I structor AFTER i was asked to find possible opponents for 3 fighters, I did this and given the stature of 2 of the names given to me I said the ikon show would be the decider to rumble at the reebok. I had no idea about ur show or ur line up so nothing wat so ever has been done to sabotage ur show or cause u a problem. I Don't controll fighters or there management other than my own.

Daz, fair comment, but they dont necessarily have to fight at Ikon to get on the Reebok show. If they win an Area title between now and the Reebok, surely it doesnt make any difference where they win it at? My grudge is that they have been told they "have to fight at Ikon and win to fight at Reebok"! WHY??

Due to a couple of pull outs, we are now looking for a 75KG fighter with approx 6 fights exp for a North West Area Title and also a 62KG female with approx 9 fights for a English Title

Like i said earlier in this thread if this show is as good as the last one put on by johnny and donna then its a must....
The venue is great both for the spectators (atmosphere and bar prices plus unrestrictive ring view )and fighters ( plenty of changing and warming up facilities)The organisation is some of the best i have ever seen at these kind of shows and everything at the last one ran like clockwork. ALL IN ALL A GOOD DAY AT A REASONABLE PRICE... Please support johnny t and donna .

Update...Got a British Title, 2 English Titles and 2 Area Titles. Just need some match ups on the support card. Any gyms that would like to be involved please send details asap.

Sorry guys, been off line for a few days.

Hi Rick, 75KG fight is now sorted thanks (it will be an English Title).

Line up is almost complete (last count 17 fights with possibly another 2 to add).
Dont want to jinx the line up so not posting yet.
Due to pick up the posters today and will distribute to the gyms involved along with tickets.

Can I ask why my photos are on this poster (three of the corner pictures) when no on has asked permission.

A bigger concern to me is why does it say on the poster “all photographs copyright muaythaiphotos.com”

Pete this is the second time in 3 weeks I have seen this now my photographs with YOUR copyright claim on them. The first time I made you aware quietly and privately through facebook. Two weeks later I see the same thing now on a public forum so I am responding on a public forum. If there is a third time I will just hand it over to lawyers to deal with.

Actually England, Scotland and Wales are different countries as far as Rugby, Football, certain Athletic events etc, so therefore an international event could be England v Scotland.

In rugby union it is called the six nations, featuring England, Scotland, Wlaes, Ireland FRANCE and ITALY. Six nations, meaning six different countries!

The Home nations are recognized as different countries by Footbal, Rugby Union and League, Cricket etc. matches between these are recognised as full internationals!

Huge thank you to everyone who helped out, was involved and supported. Everybody truly helped turn this into a great, value for money show.
Special thanks to Paul Webb from Spotland Bridge Thai who really helped us out in providing 2 very last minute fighters after pull outs. Thanks also to all the other camps/fighters who stepped in at the last minute.
It was worth all the stress in the end.
DVD's should be ready in a couple of weeks and copies will be sent to all the gyms involved. If anybody else wants a copy, please let us know.
