Orono Majestic is a great fighter,.. with a wonderful Ram-Muay, from what I understand, he doesnt seem to rise to the event when titles are on the line.
Just had a look on the muaythai200 website and the title defenses around his weight have been won by the other guy when challenging Orono.
Is this just the luck of the draw, or is there something in that?
Thoughts, Rob? Julio?

When I fought Chan-Rit Sit-O, he had just beaten Orono Magestic for the Lumpinee title. Is this another case, or just a filtered story/general concensus. What's Orono's record?

....I guess this is kinda linked to "what makes a good fighter thread".

my take on orono is that he is a solid all around fighter... i've seen him fight several times, and he has a lot of heart, a solid chin, and he just came off a pretty big win vs Yodsankrai petyindeee.. TKO. never seen sibmeun fight, but then again he is the current lumpini champ at 130lbs...

oh yeah... orono seems to be a helluva nice guy.... here is Orono MajesticGym preparing for his fight on the fourth of may, TKO WIN vs Yodsankrai...

Sipmuan is very tough opponent! strong and at his best with knees and clinch! saw him when he won vacant title! in fact think it is in axnews! Thouhg technically Oronos a lot more allround fighter, good skills with hands it depends on how he deals with strength in the clinch! and you have seen him fight Julio! he fought to draw with Sakadpetch on show after S1!

Hi Rob,
Rather than starting a new thread,i'll hopefully
catch you on this one.
Just wondering if you could tell what TV stations
and times are the fights shown in Thailand?
Or a link to a online Thai TV guide?
Thanks
Danny.

Orono won points in a real battle! Sipmuan true to form very strong in the clinch, Orono landed 2 nasty elbows at the end of the 4th opening up big cut on Sipmuans forehead!

Sam A win oints in a very technical fight! Petch fought a tactically better fight than last time but Sam A came from behind in 5th to take win!

Hello contender, nice pic's, not as good as Rob's though, why would that be??lol. That was a really good night of fighting, i feel lucky to have been there and in such company. Yet again though i was confused by fight outcomes. With the 2 top fights i had the wrong guy's. Amazing Thailand.

On a more serious note, it was good to meet you again Julio. That after party snack was nasty though. Petch was my man, amazing kicks and his hair was pretty cool also, dispite attracting such names as "yellowhead".
