i didn't think it was a KO as such......? Shanan had an injury coming into the fight and it flarred up again and wanting to look after her body she decided to stop the fight instead of causing any further injury.

It will be great fight. I wish I knew more about Hayley Lingard. I don't even have a profile of her on my website.

I believe Bouquet is just about as good as they get.

Well i can't really make an informed choice because i've never come across Hayley Lingard, but having recently fought Stephynee, i know that she is an amazing fighter with a full armoury and plenty of power, speed and HEART to back it up with!
Stephynee is by far the toughest opponent i've ever had, so my money's on her!
All the best to both fighters, i have no doubt it will be a fantastic fight.

Karen.

p.s-Liba, please pass on my regards to Stephynee, i hope her training is going well.

p.p.s-i'm dying to see the dvd from the show in May, perhaps you could also investigate that and see if it's on it's way....? ;-)

oh we didnt know she had an injury, she had a very brave heart to step back into the ring with an injury behind her not a lot of people show that stregnth congratulations, i know of one in perth, steph shows great heart as she had a major car accident 4 days before going into the ring, both women displaying great courage and committment. anyways hope all went well and we wish you best of luck in the next rumble.

Thanks gaksun for coming to my defence there.
I don't like to pull out of fights with short notice so I came into that fight against Hayley with a torn calf muscle. And after tearing it further in the first round, decided it wasn't a good idea to continue and I stopped the fight half way into the second round. So I would appreciate it if it was not called a "KO".
But i wish both girls the best for their fight. Should be a great show.
I wouldn't mind having a crack at the winner.

Yeah Liba, I wouldn't call it a KO either. Beaves, the promoters must appreciate your attitude towards short notice! Hope everything heals nicely and better luck next time:)
