looks good ill be there.....whos fighting for the world title christian?
think imran may be too tricky for hakim but he is tough and will come to fight.
Hello Mr. Smit,
My name is Marco van den Broek and I'm the trainer of Team Calmaro from Holland. We have been several times in England with fighters at the Master Sken Show. Last time was with Nieky vs. Daniel. Sent me an email if you still need fighters for your show.
Thank you.

Richard, you are now officially German!! lol.
What...like Germain Smith? Cool
These 4 look like cracking fights!
Imran Khan(Wicker)63.5kg v Benzoua Hakim (France) 63.5kg
Christian DiPaolo (Wicker) 80kg v Mbaye Yannick (France) 80kg
Daniel Hudson (Wicker) 69kg v Mark Beale (Coventry) 72kg
Jordan Watson (Bad Company) 65kg v TBA 65kg (always a pleasure to watch lil J-Rock fight!)
who's coming?
is the khan v hakim fight for a title.
hakim is tough but not world standard
I reckon John Dennis v Thomas McCormack will be an interesting one.
Both guys had loads of junior fights and were around at about the same time (not sure if they've fought before). I know Jordan's fought them both. Theyare both climbing up ythe senior ranks now and will be ones to watch for in the future.
Unfortunately Jordan wont be fighting on the show now due to injury. The only fighter we've got on is Alessio but his should be a good one with Paul Timmins.
Imran v Benzoua Hakim is for the WPKC World title. I reckon the two different styles of tough come forward v slippery and fast will make for a very interesting fight.
I reckon this will be a really good little show.
Lucky for Jordan...I think that TBA would have battered him..I have seen that name on hundreds of posters! :)

Were still looking for an opponent for Mehdi from Sheffield. 7 Fights 76kg.
Good luck Mick & trix and all your fighters .
Regards Russ
ooop the blades (back in top flight where they belong)
Not for long, they will do worse than Sunderland.
Good luck to all fighters anyway!
Good Luck to Mick,Trix and Wicker Muaythai Team from Master Sken and Sitnarong team
and wot is your team phil???
Russ, suffice to say we will be back where we belong after winning the play-offs. I`m not falling for your leading question ploy in order for you to rubbish the mighty whites!
The Hudson Beale fight should be a cracker, interesting to see how the Di Paolo fight transpires as well against the Lithuanian lad.
SUPER super leeds super leeds united.
i think hudson will bash beale if its FTR but if not then its anyones.
Dipaulo to win by devastating mash down
Is "Devastating mash down" a technical term? We'll have to ask Tony Myers if its in the rule book.
may not be in tonys but its defo in christians im sure he fights bears crocodiles and antelopes as fight preperation hes a monster
he has shares in steve irwins zoo doesnt he liam?
you could just picture, christian di pauolo, crocodile fighter.
lol if they were mighty whites or super Leeds WHY are they in the playoffs and lets not take this off topic eh lads hahahahahah
dont matter we will win it be back where we belong the blades will be relagated old trafford will burn to the ground and chelsea will go bankrupt thats a perfect season in my eyes.
Add to that Gary Neville getting sent down for life for a crime he didnt commit, and having to spend his time in Armley C wing. That would be the cherry on the cake.
mark beale is no where near as good as daniel hudson
i think thats unfair to say that....
Mark Beale won the UK K1-MAX the other year and has an aggressive come-forward style...whereas Daniel has a very thai style.
IF it was purely on technique then Daniel would have won against Nicky Holsken, but Daniel got caught cold... this goes to show that styles make fights.
I think this may be the "dark-horse" match on this show as both guys have tons of heart, both have solid shots and the ability to stop the other and with the mix of these 2 attributes it looks to be a cracking fight to me.
Good luck to both guys.
Looking forward to it!
Haji Imran (UK) v Hakim Benazoua (France) Imran won TKO

Mehdi(Wicker camp) v Dan Hardy (Sheffield Shoot Fighters) Mehdi won on points
Well done to all Wicker Camp fighters. A special well done to Helen.
Really wanted to be there but with our promotion on the night before i was very tired and had a lot on.
Can't wait to watch the DVD.
MARCHIN' ON TOGETHER!!!!
Great show today. Cracking fights!
I'd say the most exciting fight of the night was Mehdi V Dan Hardy....both down for 8-counts in the first...a real war....a real bloodbath and full excitement that lasted the full 5 rounds.
Helen Garnet fight was joy to watch and it was great to see some young-bloods coming through in Thomas McCormack V John Dennis.
Thomas McCormack(Wicker Camp) v John Dennis (Spartan)
This was a fight I was really looking forward to as I have seen these two grow from children into adults. Both well schooled fighters with a big future. Both guys have heaps of talent but John just didnt find his range today and Thomas was scoring more accurately.
These two are certain stars of the futeure. John has "Chrissy Mac" written all over him and Thomas is going to set a pace that the guys above him in Wicker are going to have to work hard to stay ahead of!
Sam Bowden (Wicker Camp) v Mick Kelly (Scotland)
Mick started this fight with strong and aggressive hands but Sam held his nerve and eventually took control in the knees. A good solid performance from sam that shows he has the composure to go far.
Paul Timmins (Wicker Camp) v Alessio Pittirra (Bad Company Leeds)
Alessio started well throwing good kicks but got caught with his chin up and didnt recover. Paul took his chance and finished the fight quickley.
Daniel Hudson (Wicker Camp) v Mark Beale (Coventry)
This had the makings of a good fight and Beale started strong with his hands catching Hudson with an early shot that provoked Hudson to pick up the pace very early.
Hudson immediately let an elbow go and Beale didnt like it. Beale has never really been in an elbow war with anyone and seemed to be very wary of them. As soon as he saw the elbows coming he went on the retreat. Hudson landed a downward elbow on Beale and Beale went down and took a count assuming he was cut. (He wasnt)
He got up and fought on and then landed an elbow of his own that caused a large lump on Hudsons temple. Hudson then caught Beale with another elbow that opened a small cut high on the head and as soon as Beale saw the blood he didnt want to continue.
If Beale had a little more confidence in his own ability this could have been a different fight as he had caused some damage to Hudson with his own elbow... but well done to Hudson as he was going to stay in the elbow war anyway cos I actually think he likes being in them!
Mehdi V Dan Hardy
A war from start to finish. Round 1 saw a knockdown each and the whole fight swung one way then the other throughout. Medhi broke dans nose towards the end of the fight and the blood caused dan a few problems which allowed Mehdi to take final control. Great sportsmanship from both fighters and great entertainment value.
Helen Garnett (UK) v Collette van Harme (Holland)
Wow...This Dutch girl came to fight. She threw everything she owned at her opponent for the who;e of the five rounds...but it all landed on the brick wall that is Helen Garnett. I can honestly say i dont think I saw Helen even flinch. She took everything the tough Dutch girl could give and then took the fight up a gear. Her heavy low kicks were very telling and soooo solid boxing sapped the strength of the Dutch fighter. Well done Helen you are a credit to you gym and fit nicely into Trix boots!
Haji Imran (UK) v Hakim Benazoua (France)
This fight was interesting. I had seen Benazoua fight Liam Harrison at Leeds and he was very strong. Imran and Harrison are different stylists. Harrison is happy to stand and trade which brought out the strengths of the Frenchman whereas Imran made Benazoua miss and punished him for his mistakes exposing his lack of movement. Imrans style beat Benazoua easily, cutting him early in the first and then taking his time to make Benazoua walk onto every elbow he threw....Clinical Imran, well done!
Christian Di Paolo (UK) v Kazys Grigaliunas (Lithuania)
The Lithuanian was a well schooled fighter but Mr. Di Paulo (Its always safer to call someone this scary Mister) is in a different league. Another destruction job for Christian. People have talked about the Uk`s pound for pound best fighter and even though he has more pounds than most he has to be it!
Finally a big congratulations for Mick, Trix and the rest of the coaching team. You had a good day!
On a lighter note...
The funniest part of the day for me was when the lovely Lisa Houghton-Smith came over to say hello whilst I was judging. We were waiting for a bout to begin and were chatting. Tony Myers who was reffing turned and called out to each judge one by one just before the start of the action to make sure we were all ready. He turned and called out to me, and then called me again cos I wasnt listening and Lisa said, in her best school teachers voice..."Tony, cant you see we are talking"
Congrats on what sounds like a top show .
Russ
Dave and I were talking about Christian earlier and both agreed, he sometimes gets overlooked when we talk about the uk's "pound for pound" But he is awesome, best of it is, the more you hit him the more he likes it and picks it up!!
And I've been ont eh recieving end of that "school teacher" tone from Lisa, very scary!
Everyone from Wicker Camp fought great well done to Mick and Trix, Chritian is the man, some deverstating kicks and that knee to finish him off was sweeeet. Imran was very impressive aswell, i have to say i think that is the best i have seen him fight and happy for him winning a worl title regardless of what people say about world titles not meaning much now because there is so many about, anyone who was there yesterday could see just how much it meant to him and thats all that matters really, how happy it makes you, and boy was Imran happy, well done mate. It was Mark Beale's first fight under full thai rules against Daniel who just loves to throw them so he was very weiry of them and as soon as one got thrown you could see he didnt feel comfortable and Daniel spotted that and went for it,good to see Hudson back to winning ways after his lose to Nicky on Skens last year. Helen is awesome enough said and Thomas looked very composed and shit hot in the clinch, well done to everyone who fought on the show.
well done to Thomas McCormack you were awesome mate all the other guy wanted to do was run away! big congrats.
Sounds like a good show. Do people think that Beale will fight under FTR again?
Rodders, I hope he does. He is a talented fighter but got a bit overawed at his first taste of elbows. And lets be serious, Hudson is not someone I would choose for my elbow baptism.
beales had more fights than most have before they start with elbows but hudson a wrong 1st choice although hudson did get caught with a big elbow off beale. beale just looked scared and dropped on the floor all the time
