Sagital, Rotation and Lateral

What are your sports specific favorite exercises and do you think some to the latest super trick core exercises are mixxing the boat due to complexity?

I think the core needs to be taught how to work in each plane and in each movement pattern.

Just cause you can lift with a functional core doesn't mean you can twist with a functional core. Same with transverse and sagital etc

MuayThai has alot of rotation and I think it should certainly be a part of training.

But if the core is working in each plane and movement pattern then I don't see why mixing, especially if sport specific, should be a prob.

IF the foundation is there.

If you aren't assessing core function you don't know if it is working no matter how good the exercise IMO
