'Jersey Finger' injury

Dear all,

3 weeks ago I managed to tear a tendon in my ring finger, which resulted in my inabily to bend the fingertip and make a fist! 4 days later I have had the operation done to reattach it to the fingertip and am now in a splint for 3 more weeks. I am undergoing the physio on the finger, however, the finger tip is still not bending! I know the tendon hasn't torn off again as it's much easier to move the finger in general and since the op, I find it a lot more difficult to bend the other fingers due to ring finger not bending!

I have been told that full recovery should happen in 2-3 months but I am worried that I still can't bend the finger tip....

Has anyone else had a similar injury and how long should I expect to be out of action?

This might sound crazy but I personally would do EFT to help with healing or for 'the tip not bending' etc

Otherwise I know nothing about this but wish you the best.
