Cotto vs Mayweather...

...Why is this not happening? How it effect Mayweathers legacy if he does/doesn't face him?

Is anyone interested in PBF vs De La Hoya 2?

If Cotto beats Margherito will the clamour for Cotto vs PBF be overwhelming?

How would PBF fair against Cotto?

What are people thoughts?

best fight in the world on paper but nobody ever seams to shine against mayweather, cotto is a lot stronger than hatton so would have a better chance at the infighting than hatton did

tricky one this whos avoiding who? I think cotto would have some sucssess from range he can put some lovely combos together he just chose to walk mosley down altho he could of matched him for hand speed IMO.Cotto is a great fighter but PBF seems to have an answer for every style .Wont be an easy night but i facy PBF by a couple of rounds.Saying that margento could piss on the parade he can be a nightmare to fight

I agree that margherito could spoil the party for cotto although i'm hoping Miguel can come through it and think he will in a close one. I think he may outbox Margherito.

I think pbf would have Cotto's number but would probably need to spoil a lot. I'd b inerested to see how he'd cope with Cotto as i believe Cotto would be the best most on form fighter he has faced.

So what about PBF's legacy? If Cotto can beat Margherito convincingly Floyds going to have to seal the deal at Welterweight surely? Nice way to end it too as its a genuine superfight of two fightrs in their prime at their best weights (although you could argue that Floyd would be best at 140lbs though i feel he's grown into 147 nicely in his last fight?)

agree with you there mick i thought he was best at 140 till i saw him against hatton where he looked big and strong.I think PBF has suffered due to lack of superstars around his weight divisions so on that score he has to fight cotto to seal a legacy. As for de la hoya i think he is on a little ego trip he should drop the rematch with PBF

yeah as tough as cotto is he doesn't beat antonio in a war! He's slick enough to do it tho but twelve rounds is a long time! Gonna be a cracker.
