It was a RJJ past his best. Calzaghe though if he pushed it abit more when RJJ was on the ropes, and instead of backing off could've possibly stopped him. I prefer RJJ to Calzaghe, but I would have really hated for JC to retire on a defeat, and his only defeat - that's if he does retire - but there were moments when he was showboating that I hoped RJJ would spark him.

It was edge of the seat stuff sometimes, especially in R1 with the knock down. It was worth the staying awake until 6.30am I suppose. I hpe he gets the BBC Sports Personality of the Year again, save that Lewis Hamilton tit from getting it!!

unfortunately i dont thinik calzaghe will ever get the recognition he deserves!he outclasses any curren mainstream british sportsperson i think.

i never saw the point in JC fighting RJJ, he's 10 years past he's best. Who's he beat in the last 5 years? He should have fought Chad Dawson, then retired. Now, the yanks still wont respect him.

He won BBC SPotY last year, so it's not impossible for the back to back.
Yeah the guy at the end of the fight was abit of a tit.

I don't think he'll ever get respect from a lot of Americans, whoever he beats.
