Hi All

A quick note to advise that Tony Robb from Combat Video is currently in Middlemore Hospital with a broken back after being thrown from a horse.

The Robb family have been involved film fights through out New Zealand for a number of Years, and my best wishes and support go out the family at this time, I hope Tony has a speedie and full recovery.

Thanks to Robyn and her son, who dispite the current family issues, still took the time to attend and film the First Auckland Demon Energy Kickboxing Fight Night supported by WAKO (NZ)

Tony is at Middlemore Hospital (Ward 11). Just went and saw him this morning, and for a guy who has two badly damaged vertebrae hes still smiling and apologizing for the delay in getting some DVDS out to me! He asked if i was coming up to the next show on the 20th and he said he would see me there id i was going!....."just cant keep a good man down" spring to mind considering the severity of his injuries.

All the very best for a successful operation "Big Tony", and wishing you a very speedy return back home to your family.

Norm.

Tony is doing well for what has happened. I have been to see him a few times and he seems to be doing fine. However he will take at least a year to fully recover so lets hope that the year goes fast and Tony fully recovers as he is one of the good guys in our sport. He will still be in the hospital for a while and the food that they give him is a little on the sad side i have to say.

I will be going back to see him very soon and will give you guys another update.

Just to let everybody know the latest news. One of our sports greatest supporters and ambassadors is getting out of jail...ummm errrr coff coff i mean Hospitable this afternoon!!! I am sure Tony will come on here very soon to say gidday and update the situation for himself in due course.

Tony has several shows to edit and catch up on etc...and says he hopes to be able to get the DVDs out to all that have orders in for them asap. Given that he is in recovery mode from an accident that would have killed most men,it is amazing that he can move at all let alone to be even thinking of other peoples needs at this time, but like someone said before...you just cant keep a good man down.

Heres wishing you and your family the very very best of Christmas cheer Tony, and i will be over for a beer when your up for it ok mate. Merry Xmas my freind :-)
