Sports Hall Or Gym
Hello how many here train in gyms with punchbags and a ring and how many train in sports halls with no permanent equipment?
I see alot of adverts for kickboxing etc in local village halls and sports halls and wondered how good can you train with just focus mitts and pads, I know a good trainer can teach people anywhere but how much of a difference does it make to training?

It's nice to train in a full time gym with mats etc, I don't think bags, ring make a difference & padwork is enough if the instructor is good & also you can spar without a ring, not every gym has a ring, some don't even have changing rooms or showers, I think it all come down to personal prefrence.

For me its the instructor that you buy into. Does not really matter at first but as you get to the higher levels then of course you are going to need the best coaches and equipment to succeed
