Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has used Beta Alanine for training and noticed an improvement in explosive speed and power?

How close to training would you use it, and would you also use it prior to a fight?

Cheers.

To big a rage and marketing to hold my breath on.

The quick look I did suggest the scientific research is essentially inconclusive except possible minor increases in performance at elite levels which hasn't been look into too much.

I haven't looked much and only looked due to this thread.

Thanks for your thoughts nonetheless Mark. I got the marketing tout at the supplement shop the other day, but was hoping to hear some feedback from actual fighters using it for training and competition prior to forking out any $ for it.

I've been on this for about a month now, and I do reckon I've improved my explosiveness in training. I'd like to think I've trained long enough to note a proper gain rather than a placebo one.

Would recommend it to other fighters for practical gains.
