Entry fees by foreign athletes only, can be made on the day.

Details of how to register, view website : www.aka-england.org

Please enter your athletes early to avoid disappointment, this competition will only have a maximum of 30 contests on the day ( 60 entries matched in total ). The last event in November 2008 had 105 entries. Due to this, those athletes the register early will take precedence over later entries.

We are getting some enquiries about having some kids bouts on the event.

Please note :

All kids bouts have to wear headguards, even though there is no head contact allowed at all.

Also, on the O.S.R. (open scoring rules), Kicks, ( including Knee-kicks ) score just one single point per clean hit, not two points as with the adults.

Hi Gavin,

This is the newer style belt. The centre is an enlarged IKF logo. The side badges are printed with the relevant information.

On the left badge has the name of promoter, date of event, venue.

On the right badge are the details of the title, Pro. or Am. Weight Category, Style ( M.T.R. or O.S.R. or F.C.R. ).

The Belt is colour coded,

Red for National titles,
Black for Commonwealth title,
Blue for European,

These are very good belts for the Amateurs.

Headline Bouts - Top of the Billing.
------------------------------------

Three championship bouts. Two of which are title defences. The first will be a ladies ( deadlier than the male ) title contest. Followed by a Light-Middleweight title defence, by the current British Champion against a former World Title Challenger.

Then to finish the event with a bag, our final contest, again a title defence, should be explosive contest not to be missed as this will be under Full Thai Rules, allowing Elbows and Knees to the head!

Standard Tickets are still available, and we have just one table left at ringside ( cost £200.00 - which includes waitress service ).

Instructors are welcome at the event at no cost, including a single guest ( as always on our events ). Should anyone be interested in the above, please telephone or text Neil on 07973-43-18-18.

------------

I.K.F. Ladies British Super-Middleweight Title (O.S.R.)
Lyndsey Henderson - Darlington ( Paul Pearson )
vs
Cath Stroud = Leigh ( Dave Eckersley )

------------

I.K.F. British Light-Middleweight Title 'DEFENCE' (O.S.R.)
Ben Marshall ( Defending Champion ) - Teeside ( Mike Carr )
vs
Raf Hussein ( Challenger ) - Birmingham ( Steve Logan )

------------

I.K.F. British Light-Welterweight Title 'DEFENCE' (M.T.R.)
Robbie Newton ( Defending Champion ) - Darlington ( Paul Pearson )
vs
Phillip Williams ( Challenger ) - Urmston ( Lee Green )

Best of luck to all, and thankyou for your support.
