The talk is of Hatton fighting De la Hoya, but I think sense will tell Oscar to call it a day.

What's out there for either of them, its the obvious choice and all the 50-50 or it doesn't happen talk is just negotiation. Personally, I think 60-40 to Pacman is fair, he's the pound for pound number one. They would split what £20m minimum

40% of a lot is better than 100% of nothing!...Could be a bad move by Hatton..or was Hatton v DLH the fight they were always going to have and now they can? cos that will be still do massive business. Co-promoted by the two of them as well and that will make them even more money

We get to see Pacman v Floyd now maybe

Colin yes i think DLH is the fight Hattons ppl will want !!!. I love Hatton he is great entertaining fighter but Pacman v Mayweather is by far a better fight ?

There is too much been made of Hattons fans who will travel what they must understand is the show would sell out without them there.

Still hope the fight goes ahead

There are plenty of options for Pacman, FMJ, JMM, Juan Diaz, Nate Campbell.

I think hatton needs the fight more than Pacaman because:

Pacaman can/would fight at lightweight, light-welterweight and possibly welterweight again, giving him more options

He is younger than Hatton, so has more time where as hatton doesnt have long left (maybe)

He is the P4P king

Hatton hasnt got a "cedible" world title at the moment

All things considered hatton should take 40%, if he wins he can ask for 60% next time he fights

plus pacman can make lightweight so if the fight was at light welter he's stepping up to hattons weight so deserves more $$$$$$$

Is it true that Pacman only took around 30% of dosh when he fought DLH ? This as always been the case in the past the main name as the bigger cut

Maybe Ray Hatton getting power mad !!! What was his job before Ricky became a big boxing name ? I heard he as his 2p worth in when talking about the purse

Yes he had his own carpet business, selling and fitting. Ricky once was a fitter too, but was useless so his Dad put him back into the shop HaHa

Ray Hatton's a shrewd business man, for a long time now he buys as many tickets as possible for Ricky's fights and then sells them on to all his loyal fans at a mark up!!!!

I think Pacman is within his rights to ask for 60% but by all accounts it's back on at 52 48 in Pacmans favour.

unless Hatton does something very different he will get cut to shreds whilst he tries to make the distance up to land his body shots!!!

Pacmans footwork as much as his hand speed was what beat DLH

DLH f...ed the weight up thats why he lost so badly, he looked beat before he even got in ring. Hatton would do better but still manny win imo.
As p4p king i think manny should take larger share of purse always no matter what poularity though it doesnt always work like that.
Personally id love to see hatton cotto would be a great fight, providing cotto can recover from bad loss to margerito.

i hope pacman batters him...used to think ricky came across as a down to earth boxer...peoples champ...but all this trying to fool the public that he'll be the p4p #1 if he beats pacman is pure turd on toast...hatton's fought mostly at 140 and walks about @ a good few stone heavier...when he steps out of his comfort zone he comes up short or looks pretty average
if hatton wants to be p4p then he should step up and win titles at the next 2 weights above himself like pacquiao's done
if hatton hadn't been spouting this tripe i'd have just enjoyed the fight and cheered both of them on but with all the fake hype he's giving himself i hope he gets stopped
pacman to win
