I missed out on the Super K V Andy Howson fight on the UK Contender show, so cant see how this one might go. Damien had a great fight with Andy on the last Legends show and still shows he is at the top of his game after sooo many years. This is gonna be a war!

Quality nite ... with some Corking fights ... Apart from sitting just behind the brothers Grim (shoreman, harrison, howson ) who looked to be having a right laugh all night and good luck to em to , i dont think anyone was safe from there commentary me included i cant wait to hear the DVD lol .... was good to catch up with alot of people .

Fight of nite was Damian and Juk ... QUALITY QUALITY QUALITY ... Juk didnt really seem into it from end of second And Damian you just got more technical and a pleasure to watch ... you went in there with a few supporters and left with 400 extra .

What happened with the three knockdown rule in that fight ???

russ its 3 knockdowns in a round and 5 over the fight mate... before it gets stopped that way.

The Thai Dicks fought actually did speak thai. and is nationalised Dutch. I know because I spoke to him for quite a while. Nice lad infact.

And Kaoponlek maybe had other reasons for a no show. as a nationalised italian national holding two passports theres no reason for visa difficulty.

however; staying on the positives. damian was excellent. tim versus leroy was excellent, infact the lot was great and nearly (i mean nearly) worth the life sapping traffic difficulties on the M25

Well done to everyone who fought last night - i can't remember any of it as I was so distraught at not fighting i was paraletic most of the weekend.
Hopefully will be able to get the fight with him another time.

Amazing performance Damien and def fight of the night.
I thought Dixie was class too as always although thai wasnt that good but did try. Leroy and Thomas very good battle, Tim was just too sharp for Kneeroy this time. John Dennis was brilliant. The best Uk prospect at only 18 is Greg Woolton!!

Great to see everyone at the show Mantramp,stevie gladstone,Sai varley,kevin etc,i spot weird things being into mind stuff maybe but Ko gym have a real family feel to what they do a real belief in themselves as a unit i love that,each round Anna was happier and happier in her fight with Sheree who fought well also the red mist that is Zucalla is a real force may lack power but self belief in abundance,rare gifts in any part of life.

i fell vitim to the double slap about 9x....KO gym all looked very very good! damien was wkd as was Tim vs Leeroy...tough 12st 2 rounds for Leeroy but he went on one in the 3rd and got himself right back in the fight then the scandalous cut in the 5th, id have liked to have seen it go the distance but it was a very sharp elbow from tim...Dicks just destroyed ThanitImon, took him apart from the 1st round, john denns was on top form, very sharp against a tough and game adam lee mason, he was also on top form after the fight as the only time i saw him with any sort of clothing on was his sponsor t shirt he wore to the ring lol

Michael never pulled out of any fight. Michael was training to fight when he was asked to fight Steve Jones, but we did not know Steve had not been asked, and when he was asked he couldn't fight because he had other commitments, that were far greater then fighting, so Michael agreed to fight Chris Shaw, we agreed to take that fight, and that was called of. Then I was asked if Michael would fight some one from abroad, but due to the expense of bringing them there no purse just ticket deal. I declined the offer and Michael stopped training, and started living a normal life of eating and drinking and then we were asked some time after if he wanted to fight You, for the short notice going on a fast track diet and cramming training in for it there was no motivation so we said NO. So there was never no pull out, because there was never no fight to start of with. Mark

knowing marc well,he was looking forward to the opportunity and challenge to fight michael and was obviously disapointed the fight was off.
marc was mentally and physically preparing for fighting michael,and no disrespect for simon chu,wanted that fight.dont know if it was offered.
hope it happens in the future with michael and also simon chu if both camps want it.

Either of those would of been good fights. Simon was supposed to fight a Lithuanian who pulled out last minute. Marc would of been the far better fight for Simon, win against good and known opponent or loose to a good opponent.

Maybe a fight for the future.

I was offered a fight with simon chu 2 weeks before when i was told that michael wasnt fighting but only under k-1 rules so we decided against as i'm only going to fight full thai rules now, fought a couple of k-1 rules last year and its not for me.i was looking forward to watching simon fight as he had just stopped fighting when i started training and people were telling me how good he was.
