Surge, your a top fella and gladiators is a top gym, proper old school. i trained at yours for a while a couple years back. Does big gaz still train with you? the guys a monster i remember him kneeing me full in the face once sparrin, my head looked like a beachball for 2 weeks lol! Hi to my friends , full line up is just about nearly done ,just waiting on two or three names then its done , but otherwise no ballshit this is going to be a real cracker and i keep saying it will be the best show ever to be staged in Nottingham ,ive done shows for years and pepole come from all over the country to watch , Gladiators HeavyHitters shows are getting bigger ans stronger all the time , you know we work hard for at least 12 weeks with our fighters and train them 3 to 4 times a week some even train more , its a great buzz to see our hard work paying of when our guys and girls are winning , anyway keep watching and full line up on soon , and thanks for your coments . made up with my 3 guys, tommy turbine and phil sheddon both took fights on thursday, i hate 3 round fights there scrapy and no good fot muay thai but both guys did excellent tommy unlucky not to ko his opponent in 3rd. and phil sheddon got draw but it was actually a win, shame the judges dont understand thai scoring hense knees to the back are a big score ....... but we got draw so hey ho !!

martin davies was a star he accepted this fight at 4 pm saturday he hasn't train for it and wasn't fit to fight, even so 5 rounds pro k1 knees to the head. dale came out firing but didn't land to much of what was thrown with martin chopping him down with quality body and high kick and 2 very well placed knees to the head. martin managed to smash dales leg in the second and he gave in by the 4th with his knee.

all in all a good night for the salford tour bus !!! 2 wins and a draw at 3 days notice :-)

First of all thank you to every one making this show happen , right first of all two of the dutch boys had a car crash , so we had to change the fights aroud , jimmy kram had a flu for 2 weeks before the fight and had not cleard up so he did not fight ,we was not going to put him and make a mistake allthough he still wanted to fight be we could not take the risk , jimmy is not mardy he was realy ill , Harry junior forht steve hooper in his dads place , scott taylor forht lenard from holland , and dale had a late replacement from salford thai , it still was a good show 18 fights still went ahead i will put on full order of wins losses and tko later on today , Dugy you said that scott sold 70 -100 tickets mate on this thread last week , you got it so wrong caues he only sold 19 adults and 4 kids ???? something wrong thier mate , lot of hard work went into this show and it was still a great night , and it was nice to see you Bridey even though i thought you was isis card girl , got it so wrong that was funny babes , sandy did a fantastic job and so did all the team hepling behind the senes.

Scott fat boy..what a show he put on taking his time and just taking lumps out of the Holland lad(but a good lad he took it and stayed in there).

Ok 1st of all I thought Scot had or should have sold more tickets. Normally he would sell 50-100 (ask dean). It did not happen and i apologies for that. however scott did not receive a purse and he is one of the top fighters in the uk and that fight on its own has raised the profile of this show.

You fail to mention that Jess Needham took a fight at the last minute she is 14 her apoinant 20 and 15 k differance. Just to help you out.
Scotts fight was the best of the night by a long way.
I did not ask for fuel money because we did not sell enough .
You said never again well not a problem there is a lot of shows out there.
Its a shame as I have put a lot of fighters on your shows over the last few years and given you a lot of support. your loss mate

you put a great show at a great venue ! as the promoter you can only work with what your given, i have just put on a massive show, that show cased some of the best thai fighters in the country and personally i think that was easier to do than smaller local shows because pro fighters are easy to deal with. i take my hat off to you surge you did a great job and dont let any body tell you other wise its fine and good ppl moaning ....... try shutting up and putting up !!

and i reckon you should go more Thai fights they are better received and more real deal ( sorry kickoxers but no diss, just that it was popular in the 80's and has been out grown by Thai and k-1 )

its a great sport ! ( ive fought 5 Disciplines and can tell ya its the Dogs doo darrs let ya Guys n gals do it ! "Its the Future" and the past and the Present !:-))))))

"how many cakes ya had today love?" then she holds up the round board that says "5"..... he shouts "damn right.... your called sugar coz u eat alot of it!!!" . a bit cruel and uncalled for surge but did make our lot laugh.

i really had a good night mate and i am not at all critising the show... sorry if it seemed like that. i was just saying your bragging back fired a bit but i do understand the concept of marketing so you go for it next time mate.. would love to see more thai fights.
