Lee Chesters has a former boxer at 65kg looking to have his first Thai Fight on my show at the Tower Ballroom on Sunday 1st Nov.
He is quite experienced at boxing, but only a few months training at Thai. Lee would like him to have pos 5 x 1.5min or 5 x 2min fight.
If you have anyone please contact me to discuss details. Steve Logan 07866 36 59 63
The show is shaping up.
The main event features IKF World Champion Damien Trainor (K-Star) who takes on Dutch man Lljas El Hamjoui under Full Thai Rules.
This will be a rare chance to see Damien Trainor fight in Birmingham, El Hamjoui has only one loss in 25 fights, so expect fireworks!!
Also on the show Dave Copestake (K-Star) takes on a Thai!
Dave will be fighting Johng Aang from Thailand under Full Thai Rules (FTR)
Johng Aang is now living in England and training with former World Champion lee Chesters in Doncaster.
This will be a big step up from the domestic scene for Dave, but he is training hard and as allways will give 100%
As always on K-Star shows there will also be a a fantastic under card featuring fighters from around the country.
Advanced tickets are just £20 (more on door) or £300 for a VIP table of 10.
Tickets are available from K-Star's 3 academies 0121 331 4074 or www.k-starthaiboxing.com

Damien just couldnt get near the lad, who picked dt off at will as he danced around the ring.
el hamjoui landed big body punches in the third and put dt down & NEARLY OUT..
Trainor did well in the 4 th but got caught again with massive body shots in the
5 th and was counted out...

Nice Pics Pete and good results for K-Star and Big win for
lljas el hamjoui of team gunyar 25 wins 1 loss...( wheres he from? and what weight was it?
and Hard lines Damien your a ledge mate and will as always bounce back !
and
mr Copstake nice-1 and hey always i say it
"Ya Cant beat a Ginger" :-p lol
Anyone got vids of these fights?
Cracking show, unlucky damien.
lljas el hamjoui was very slippery and quite strong did not take a backwards step, just kept throwing combination after combination as well as switching from southpaw to orthodox, Damien couldnt pin him down to land cleanly.
Well done to all involved some good wins for the K Star lads, how epps didnt knowck his lad out i have no idea he took more than a few full shins to the face.
lljas el hamjoui was like a jack in the box but on speed!!, he must of ran a
half a marathon in the ring! awkward opp, if he stood still DT would of seriously damaged him, like he did in the 4th. Great Fight though for both lads,
Also Well done to all the * K - Star * team, who showed great spirt and sportsmanship
photos now going online

cheers

Just a bad day in office for lol erm Ilias literally didnt stand still for the entire fight which i found very hard to land anything :-( but onwards and upwards as they say.
Oh and to the comment about it looked like i took a good hiding has been mentioned on this forum more then once maybe i should go on a sun bed lol
true pro & a gentleman
A champion is someone who will get up when others won't and strive on to greatness :-) .........well that's the plan anyway LOL
well done damien - i too attract moths - white as a sheet mate!
Well done steve logan too - sorry i couldnt be there.
Thanks everyone that supported the show and helped to make the show a great success.
there were some fantastic fights, everyone fought their hearts out!
Damiens fight was brilliant for the spectators, non stop action. as Damien said Ilijas was non stop and very awkward, Damien just never got into the fight, just a bad day at the office.
Who knows we may get a rematch at the Tower to sort it all out!
Damien is a true Champion and something like this is just a small set back and Damien always learns from these things.
I used to have a poster on the gym wall that said 'sometimes you win and sometimes you learn!' and that is exactly what i think will happen.
all close no1 damien broke hand again retired from fight no2 wiped the ring with andy no3 lost a close fight if you want to be picky yes on paper it's 2-1 to howsen but realy its 1-1 because the first fight we'll never no the result due to damien having to retire. im not going name people but every one ive spoken to and some are high profile fighters instructors etc etc in uk muay thai agree there should be a forth and last time. how ever this been said this thread is about the kstar show i dont want to hog this thread and make your brown nose a shiney one at that.
Thread cleaned up. Stick to the topic and dont break the rules please
I LIKE WHAT U SAID STEVE IT IS SO TRUE "SOMETIMES U WIN SOME AND SOMETIMES YOU LEARN" :-) DAMIAN WILL BE BACK SO MUCH STRONGER NEXT FIGHT AND SHOW HE`S THE GUVNOR WE ALL KNO AND LOVE ...HE ALWAYS MAKES US FEEL PROUD OF HIM IN EVERY FIGHT HE HAS :-)
????? Erm I'm guessing it went off earlier then? Anyway I always bounce back ;-)
Damien your a champion inside out mate, one of the best the UK,s produced you always learn if you don,t then its a real loss,i am still a fan as a watcher and a admirer of a real top fighter, humble, decent man simple as that xx
what happened?? i must have missed something for the thread to be cleaned up!
A few insults thrown between people that didn't have the same opinion (NOT ME)
I added a comment and they took that off too, so not sure if it got a nasty response.
K :)
Oh ok well I hope the discussion isn't continued I'd rather just learn from the other night and get my revenge soon ;-)
splinter is a ledge no need to hate on him regardless of any fight he has been in. when we all 1st started in corby damien was reason most of us wanted to start fighting. watch trainor v Ajit singh u will see what i mean :-D go manrat. PS can u tell ur cousins to get out of my loft messy fuckers lol
