Arnold oborotov is fighting for the same title on 25/9/10 in scotland against David Mcmahon.

Both of the fighters are on the top of the rankings.
Arnold will fight anyone from 86 to 95 kg !
So how come UKMF have the same title on two shows in the same month.
and how come Maxim and Rufus can fight for that title if Arnold beat Maxim twice. Maxim just lost to Joe Colvile and Rufus is not even in the rankings?

With regards the UKMF cruiserweight British title its is being fought for on the 25th of sept in Edinburgh. Dave Mcmahon v Arnold Oborotov UKMF no 1 and 2.This has been confirmed by Paul Hamilton and Dave Croft months ago.
Also i have the belt.

The title that is being contested on XPLOSION is the super cruiserweight title. If you look at the UKMF Rankings you will see maxim is no 1 contender with no other nominations. The title was fought for and won by maxim on John Jarvis's April show, but was voided due to UKMF policies(not for discussion here).Maxim was offered the first crack at it again in june when the matching was being done and as no one else was in line, Rufus was offered the opportunity.The belt is in the possesion of Paul Taylor ,who, to my understanding,is bringing it back from Thailand this week.

like i say before Arnold Oborotov will fight anyone form 86 to 95kg that is cruiserweight or super cruiserweight we will also consider some Heavyweight fights too.
Arnold won fight against Maxim last year for super cruiserweight english title. And he is current super cruiserweight english champion it was on Bill Judd show.

All the best john for the 25th,it was good to meet you at pauls gym in Darlington on the 21st aug..would be good to bring some boys up in the future.

paul,as i understand , arnold fighting for CRUISERWEIGHT BRITISH TITLE, MAXIM fighting for SUPER CRUISERWEIGHT BRITISH TITLE. 2 different titles..ARNOLD WILL FIGHT ANY ONE FROM 86-95kg yes...but he is fighting for 86.3kg title, im sure whoever wins s/cruiser ,will fight Arnold..you are on the guest list for show, so look forward to seeing you my friend..

It was Alex's decision as he was sick n tired of every one saying how he was 1kg heavier than James when they fought and how it was a lot. so he wanted to take this fight.

great night of fights, (and day for the kids)

very proud of all of mine, good performances even if the results ended up going against us, and a strange call on the early DQ.

shame Lee vs Marc was on last as crowd thinned a little but what a calm display of muay thai - beauty to watch super fast left leg and power right kicking from Lee and some great throws, sharp replies from Marc and strong last round from him - lovely fight

some cracking perfomances elsewhere in the card the Casserly spinning elbow was a peach and after a monster round from John

Salah put on a brilliant kicking display to beat the ultra unorthodox and tough Yahia

watched a fair few others and really were some cracking bouts.

looking forward to the next one, and a Marc vs Lee rematch ;-)

Yep the D/Q was a shame it was looking a goo fight ..
