Thanks Marc.

No sandy all kids did 2x1min rounds with 2min rest no kicks above waist and no kicks to knee joint, 20oz gloves headguard and mouthguard and elbow pads and bodyshield even though they werent doing head contact just to make sure we were on parr with slowing down the development of our countries fighters so we never ever stand a chance of beating thai/french/belarus.

I think Connor & Danny showed Great skill and control throughout it was i think a pleasure for the ref Not once did he have to get involved a spectacular display from Both lads and very close indeed they put most adults to shame if boxing allows head for kids then with the right officials it will prove a positive move dont run away from the fact they are doing it and it is here to stay the experienced kids want it.

very well said, you are so right in saying it was a pleasure...very good display of muay thai, and did put 90% of the adults to shame.also showed alot of respect for each other during and after the fight. nodding at each other when a good technique was ministered

Liam R I see where your coming from I really do,but remember some decent lads have come through still using the older style junior format(which I didnt like),lads such as John Dennis and Reece Mcallister to name just 2 of the top of my head.

Personally I think the juniors should be encouraged to body kick and clinch and therfore it is not that important to have them use head shots at a early age.

Best of luck with what your doing Liam:)
