Funny how your priorities change over the years. I agree with HAWKMAN, not really arsed about myself .... so long as my wife and kids are happy. Sounds like gushing shit, but completely true.

they just want to continue doing it

No worries Sandy. I didn't mean it quite like you've understood it. What I'm saying is, that I would gladly give up the chance doing something I want to do, in order that one (or both) of my off-spring might benefit. IE- I would love to do a 6-month around-the-world cruise, but if my daughter ends up going to Uni, I would put the cash towards her future development.

However, I suppose Its going slightly off-topic, so my bucket list wishes very basically consists of seeing as much of the world as I possibly can before taking that last, final voyage.

A lot of the other stuff like parachuting, base-jumping etc, have taken a back seat as the older I've got the more scared I've got :-).

Sorry K4C, just seen your post, don't know how I missed it when scrolling through the thread ???

Yeah, that's quite a succint way of describing my position. As most decent parents will be aware, you energies and priorities are chanelled in a different way to when you were young, free and single.

There's an old adage about 'living life through your children'. Now don't take this completely literally Sandy, but yes, I suppose I do do this ..... and actually really enjoy it.

Get the men in white coats .....
