From the BBBoC website

SUPER BANTAMWEIGHT

JASON BOOTH (Holder) v SCOTT QUIGG

The Stewards decided to put out the above contest for purse bids to be submitted in accordance with the Terms and Conditions attached to the Board’s Head Office by 12.00noon on Wednesday, 8th June 2011, the contest to take place by the end of September 2011.

It was supposed to happen on 23rd July in Bury, bot Booth declined so now it's gone to purse offers. When Its announced I will let everyone know and hopefully all those who keep saying they will come watch Scott can do this time and we can show them how a good Thai boxing support is.

Scott defended his WBA Intercontinental SUper Bantamweight title, with a round 7 stoppage win.

He will now challenge Jason Booth for the British title at the Reebok Stadium on the 8th October

It would be nice to have some nice Thai support for him on this fight, anyone wanting tickets let me know

Booth is the hardest fight for scott domestically, if not in Europe. His style(s) and ability to switch styles in a fight could cause scott some headaches. He has excellent defence against left hook , which means that we are gong to have some hard work to do between now and the 8th October.

Looks like the fight has been put back a couple of weeks an will now be on the 22nd Oct, still on Bolton but possible the arena instead of the reebok.

I'll have tickets if anyone wants one

Can't believe nobody has commented on this. Scott looked top draw and dominated all the way through on saturday night. Big things coming Scott's way I would imagine. Well done.

i think macguigan got it right quigg has flaws in his defence but he doesnt think booth had the power to take advantage and thats how the fight went. I would like to see quigg vs frampton

Scott was in cruise control. Booth had very little to offer which was a bit sad to see really. He was shaking his head to his fans at the end of the 3rd round! Was it good fight? Too one sided to be good, but Scott looked very clinical and got what he wanted - A British title.
