It was a good result for 'The Cat' but he won in large part because of David's lack of experience and eagerness to look spectacular. David threw everything at Thompson for 4 rounds looking for the KO and was exhausted going into the 5th. Thompson is a tough guy and did well to weather the storm and take his chance when he saw it.
