For those unfamiliar with Google+, it's Google's new social networking service. It's currently in field trial and they are limiting invites, though a lot of people are already on there. The reviews are like 95% positive. I've been playing with it for the past day and it's pretty cool.

It's a mixture of facebook/twitter type of features. You can follow people like twitter and you can group people and have chats with them like facebook. There's a nice Android app. The grouping mechanism (called "circles") is really easy to use in Google+. So far, I like it better than Facebook and Twitter (I never really got into Twitter much), and they aren't even done with implementing all of the features yet.

If anyone wants an invite to try it out, then email me your gmail/googlemail address (to brian [~at~] axkickboxing.com) or post it here as name [~at~] gmail or similar (so spam bots won't grab it).

I'll send you an invite email with a link it that you need to click every few hours until Google+ finally lets you in. That's how the process works. If you don't have a gmail account, then get one first here http://gmail.com.

If you're on google+ already, then add me http://plus.ly/circlefusion

You can use 3rd party sites to reserve "nicknames" that redirect to your google+ URL.

http://plus.ly
http://gplus.to

Plus.ly allows you to register multiple names.
Gplus.to only allows one.

Google+ reached 10 million users in just over 2 weeks, and the service is still in "trial" phase.

This is how long it took Facebook and Twitter to reach 10 million users.
