Golden Belt Hardcore - a concept designed for True martial artists. Five unpredictable rounds (drawn randomly at the start of each fight) combined into one exciting competition, Fighters are forced to use evading and Attacking techniques to the best of their ability And advantage.
With random round order drawn in the ring at The start of the competition, fighters must display Technique and strategy across five tough, Undetermined rounds - surviving their weakest And dominating their strongest disciplines.
Many clubs today diversify across different martial arts, Golden Belt Hardcore provides an outlet that brings together these different disciplines which are normally individual arts. Providing opportunities for clubs to display the range of skills they teach, and enabling the student to prove their abilities across all disciplines.
Following the success of Initiation 4 at the start of July 2011, we are looking towards Initiation 5 at the end of October 2011. We are currently looking for fighters, from juniors and novices to amateurs and professionals to take part.

that sounds nuts definatley a good idea will make fighters work on all aspects of there game
Congratulations on your informed opinion, unfortunately the words of trolls mean naught.
I really enjoyed to concept.
Well, whats the point of GBH?
does any one know or care? Its not really got anywhere has it?
Just_love_kickboxing!
Don't knock it till you try it, but am guessing as you have an unnamed/hiden profile you probably never will.
The concept of it is pretty new and it will go far. Four rounds stood up, with MMA gloves...you are pretty much guaranteed a good show and more likely to witness knock outs, which lets face it thats what we all pay to see when we go see any type of fight.
I agree Kev. I think its a concept we'll see getting more & more popular.
How is GBH going to grow? Will pro boxers, thai boxers and mma fighters take part in GBH fights? I think these are fair questions
Yeah I think they will as I know for a fact a pro thai boxer has, also a pro mma fighter has,
I really can't c your problem with it?
The concept answers the whole kickboxer v boxer v thai boxer v wrestler argument. Think it's a great idea, can't wait to have a go myself. Knockouts are what the average Joe public want to see, and this concept is extremely likely to produce them, with the right advertisement etc this could really take off!
Your still not explaining how it will grow, are you?
Well it has already had interest, so y don't u think it will grow or are u just 1 of those people that don't give thing a chance? Time will tell an I hope it does grow,
All u have done is put it down for no real reason!
So agen wot is your problem with it?
elitekev, how much interest has GBH got really? I mean how many people have even commented on this thread? Not many, says it all really.
The MMA threads on here never really have much interest.
Again I agree with Kev, I think its interesting and think you will see more and more people giving it a try. A lot of guys now "cross train" and will concider given it a try.
It'll only take a few big names from the individuals arts to fight.
If the draws works in your favor it could be a short nights work ;-)
Rome wasn't built in a day.
Once agen just love kickboxing wot is your problem with it?
All u seem to do is slag it off an u know nothing about it or fought in it,
As I sed earlier pro thai boxers and mma fighter have fought in it!
Thanks Paul
elitekev, you dont know me, or how many fights I have had, I just think the whole idea is a bit soft, this time next year or in ten years I bet, if its still going it will only have say, less than 5 shows a year
I would LOVE to see someone pitch it on dragons den! LOL
Just love kickboxing- u are 100% right I don't know who u r or how many fights u have had, I also never asked
I just don't see wot your problem is with gbh u just don't seem to want to give it a chance all u have done is put negative comments about it,
Everyones entitled to their opinion but what is 'soft' about a five round stand up fight in 4oz mma gloves? But if your a cage fighter 'your dead hard'? IMO it takes more courage to have a stand up fight in 4oz gloves than an mma fight, just my opinion!!
Different strokes for different folks!
GBH is an interesting concept and a good challenge for fighters.
I don't know if it will set the world alight but seems very exciting to me.
