Kickboxing Ireland Opens Squad sessions

Hi All

Kickboxing Ireland would like to take this opportunity to inviting you and your fighters to our open national squad training camps on the following dates and venues, Sunday 17th June Crumlin Boxing Club Dublin, Sunday 8th July Dragons Lair Martial Arts Club Kilkenny and Sunday 12th August Crumlin Boxing Club Dublin. Full details of these courses will be E Mailed to you soon. This is part of our on going commitment to improve and aid full contact kickboxing in Ireland in both the short and the long term.

In the short term it will aid the selection of this years national squad which will primary be selected from the the 1st placed champions, and if they are unable to travel and fulfil their duties due to injury or some other reason the 2nd and 3rd placed from the national championships will be up for selection to compete in the WAKO European and World Championships. It also gives them access to the skills an knowledge of our national coach and support team and increasing the pool of sparing partners for the fighters which will benefit fighters of all levels and abilities.

On the long term it is our goal to help fighters emulate the success of last years World Gold medallist Brian Brosnan on a regular basis and put Kickboxing  Ireland to the fore front of the International sporting scene.
To clarify in brief we do not interfere with club coaches who are in everyday contact with their fighters and have given them the skills and techniques which have served them so well to date but by pooling our knowledge we can help fighters in areas which may not be to the standards of their main strengths.

If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact any of the Full-contact committee members listed below.

Looking forward to seeing you there.

Agree with that, but some people are more interested in ripping down posters of the show than they are of supporting it lol
