anyone been there? Post tsunami? Im kinda looking for somewhere a bit more quiet than Phuket for a weeks vacation , maybe i'll do a bit a of training there , not up for bars and hoes too much . Of course if there's any around , even if they're Lima Bravos i'l probs have a sniff lol.

no khao lak its about 75km north of phuket , ive driven up there once on a visa run but never stayed

ok ive been now and its proper shite. i would avoid it like the plague. So went down to Phuket instead. TAT has got a fucking lot to answer for, the Emerald of the Andaman has turned into a total and utter Russian-infested traffic-clogged buidling site shitpit. And now theyre letting in coach parties of chinese mainlanders. Bye bye Phuket. I will only set foot there again as a sex-tourist
