Your favourite venue

Whats your fav venue? This has probably been asked before, but being at the York Hall on Saturday felt so iconic. Was great to be in the old place again, been so many fantastic shows over the years with numerous promoters using it.
Phil Tieu did a great job, and KO are putting a show on there in a few weeks.
Even though rubbish changing rooms, the old place has such an atmosphere.
Love it!

I loved the Leeds Town Hall shows...takes me back to when I first started following Muay Thai in the UK. First show I went to there was when the thai's visas were not approved and two last minute replacements were brought in from France. One of them was Albert Chey and the fight he had with Andy Howson is still one of my favourites.

Johnstone Town Hall (near Glasgow)...sounds daft but was the first show I ever presented.

Reebok will always be special for me too. MSA gave me the gig there and that was my first big, televised event.

NIA Birmingham is a superb venue...they can close that down to accommodate a smaller audience and still make it feel special.

It's funny, some venues just work better than others.

Of course...how could I forget Fairfield Hall, Croydon...there is not a bad seat in the house. With the ring at the bottom and the seating all banked up one side...it creates an amazing atmosphere and a wall of noise. Anyone who was there for Harrison's first fight with Saenchai will remember...the atmosphere was incredible.

TOWER BALLROOM EVERYTIME!! Great venue, Awesome view from anywhere, Central location to travel to, loads of parking, always a brilliant atmosphere regardless whether theres novice fights or big fights on. Always great to fight there. Two bars close by and where you can drink wherever you want. The inly downside would be the dodgy burger bar which has caused s few stomach upsets lol

Oran Mor for atmosphere. Lovely venue. I particularly enjoy hearing the fighters in the balcony changing area warming up - pads being smashed add to the atmosphere / anticipation.

The New Bingley Hall by far is one of the best UK venues at the moment, can hold 3000 people, good veiws from all areas, ample changing, warm up area, x3 car parks for free (1000+ cars), 4 bars and plenty of room for sponsors set ups, food catering etc, runway/stage, lighting, star cloths etc, Next show Sat 13th April!

i went to a show in the London Hippodrome years ago it was great , i think i worked on one there as well? A Keddle s show?

also the ones they used to organise in Rochester or Gillingham? at that big nightclub fuck knows the name, massive crowd, massive laser show, some incredible fights and slutty ring girls, i used to take care of them i should have got in there back when i had hair and adecent set of guns lol Kent coast/medway towns is just a fucker for anyone to get to and from really. Unless of course youre a German bomber pilot in the 1940s.

I would love to see someone grow a pair and put on the biggest show ever- in the Albert Hall, i do think that UFC was on there once before, when Tito got a kicking off Lee Murray in a pub after.

Teesside University is a cracking venue, capacity of 550 always been a sellout with good supportive crown.

Coaches n fighters have large air conditioned changing room, not the old committee mans office or gas cupboard. Ha ha

Large free Parking facility

And not forgetting the fact this venue won ministry of sound award for it sound & lighting, just to make every fighter feel special
