Musashi Vs Noji.

Musashi won on points against the Kyokushin newcomer Noji after 5 rounds of fighting. I am surprised that fight did go 5 rounds and that it was so even.

(1R: 10-10,10-10,10-10 / 2R: 9-10,9-10,10-10 / 3R: 10-9,10-9,10-9 / 4R: 10-10,9-10,10-10 / 5R: 9-10,9-10,9-10)

PJ Reilly:

I am not 100% sure, but I think it was Kyokushin Vs Seido.

The former Kyokushin champion and famous Australian Kyokushin karate fighter, Garry O'niell did also fight at the event. So I think that it was Kancho Ishii boys Vs Kancho Matsui's gang?

I dont read Japanese, but looking at the picture above, it looks like Garry O'Niell lost his first fight in the K-1.

Looking at pictures from the same tournament, it sure looks like they all are Kyokushin fighters??

(Look at the K-1 shorts, the Kyokushin Kanku logo is on the top of the shorts, just like they are on Noji shorts. Just like it always is on Filho, Glaube and Pettas K-1 shorts.)

The Kyokushin organization led by Kancho
Matsui is opening up to K-1 style fighting
in addition to the more common Knockdown fighting.
