WBC Muay Thai world champion Sakkedao Petchpayathai will be defending his title against K-1 champion Tetsuya Yamato a month from today! Get ready for top class thai boxing!
Romie Adanza vs Jomhod Sagami for M-One World title on May 16!
Craig Jose (UK) vs Superbon (Thailand)
Charlie Boy Peters (uk) vs Thanongdej Petchpayathai (Thailand)
Fightersworldwide set these fights up!!
Sakkedao is my favourite fighter. He will definitely boss this I think, got some chin on him. Good luck to Charlie Peters and Craig Jose too. Think Charlie's fight is a rematch?
Thanongdet is semiretired from fighting in Thailand now,
he just trains for a few days before fights these days, he beat Charlie last year down in the South of Thailand
great card, and I think there will be some tear ups but unless these Thais turn up totally untrained and uninterested I predict a clean sweep for them. Hopefully some surprises though.Best of luck to the UK fighters.Met Charlie Peters a long time ago on Samui seemed like a great lad.
agree about sagetdow hes acew the thais are gonna hurt them!
Best of luck to Jose fighting on this cracking card.
Good luck to the uk guys that's a very strong thai team.
Good luck Craig, really hope Sagetdao wins too, my favourite Thai for a long time, never disappoints with sheer toughness!
i really like craig jose but i think hes massivly over matched here, hope he wins but cant see it and romie is A Dead man walking as is the japanes guy,
Anyone westerner who fights a thai is overmatched really Paul given that we often give away hundreds of fights in experience. Craig has been fighting continuously for nearly 16 yrs he is one of the most experienced fighters in the UK. People thought he was overmatched against Saiyok and look how well he did there.
I have known this lad since he first started training with me in 1996 as a scrawny teenager he is as hard as nails and will give anyone a hard night.
Seeing as I am one of his biggest fans, I hope I am right and you are wrong!! We will find out in two weeks time.
Romie record agents thai 2-0 Langsuanlek Sasiprapa KO right uppercut round 4 Thanit Watthanaya ko left uppercut 3round hasent
You fight, you win, you loose, you test yourself.....thats the point, thats my life.
Im humbled at the opportunity and im gonna make the most of it, the chance to fight the likes of superbon and saiyok are things i wanted all my career. Whatever happens i'll be making the most of it. Thanks for all the good luck guys
Anyone know a good online link to the show?
I think craig needed a rest and will be on fire I will always be a fan of craig x
Langsuan an Thanit are no where near the level of jomhod. Is it same jomhod I'm thinking of jomhod emmintair?? This guy is a real stadium champion and can punch too cos has pro boxed he's a real badass. Also Romie is 1-1 with Thanit ain't he so his record is 2-1 but no disrespect to those Thais but jomhod is 5 levels above.
agreed, Fair enough for Adamza to be having a go but, that this is a totally different animal! Fair play though.Good shout from Geordie. Really hope to be able to watch this show is it going to be streamed?

How did Peter and Jose do?
Both talented fighters and both capable of bringing them belts back home. They've got a Very experienced corner with Kieran Keddle and micheal dicks both being former world champions best off luck boys!!

Just heard from Craig's brother that Craig lost on points!
Charlie got stopped with a cut to his eye from a kick. Hear it was a right good tear up too!
easy fight for the Thai's Charlie Boy Peters KO first round cut on the eye and two knees to the head -Romie Adanza nasty cut on the head first round - the only one that put a fight on is Craig Jose much respect great fighter only one to go all 5 rounds
Thankyou muaythai11, i really enjoyed the fight
I have to say the entire trip has been amazing. We have been treated so well. We have met some great people and had a throughly enjoyable time. Thankyou very much to coiln oyama, brian, jesse, scott hirano, marie choi and the whole m-one team.
Gutted for charlie boy but he'll bounce back. Dicksy and keiran were top
Well done craig jose! A clean sweep for the thais but sounds like you gave them a hard time of it.
Thanks paul its on you tube if u wanna watch it
sound mate il check that now, hope you dont think i was out of line earlier. sometimes i say things and forget how they come across! i knew you'd do good.
was a good fight he was stylistically very good! super relaxed wasted nothing! good thing that he did have decent fitness if not you would have ended up grinding him down! probably the best commentating iv heard from the usa.
agreed paul style wise i think craig had the toughest fight superbons elbows are ridiculous, his vision and movement is amazing too and hes very hard to land clean on credit to craig showing his class well done mate...any other videos wanna see saggetdaos fight
Im not sure liam one of my students posted mine to you tube. The live stream is still saved on my bros pc so i'll see if he can upload it. Thanks lads yeah he does have fantastic vision and hard to land combos on without getting an elbow for it
Liam, Jomhod is the Jomhod from Eminent Air. Great hands for a Thai in addition to being proficient with all the other weapons.
I was surprised to see him matched on this show, especially at a weight that didn't give the Westerner at least a 5kg advantage. Sounds as though his fight was pretty disappointing with a R1 TKO stoppage.
Good on this promoter for bringing a top Thai team over. Too many times we see semi retired American based Thais fighting on the top American shows, instead of people flying over a real team of current champs.
How is it United States of America if it's on an Indian Reservation?
Am I the only person who points out that Muay Thai is illegal in some States? Heck, gambling is illegal in all 50 States but with the reservation being a sovereign nation they allow gambling on the reservations.
I'm not trying to be a plonker and hijack this thread, but someone besides me point out that most State Boxing/ Athletic commissions are holding back the sport of Muay Thai in America.
If you want to become popular and make money you go for suburban America, any marketing specialist would tell you that.
BTW, not bashing the Indians, I think what they're doing is honorable and can help the sport, but it's a little isolated for the mainstream.
