Spent a fair bit of time around Orono, he should be nowhere near a boxing ring, great guy but too many wars...its an accident waiting to happen. Someone needs to be looking out for these guys.

Some years ago I think John Wayne Parr was on the forums talking about how Masato was training in Thailand around the same time he was and was supposed to fight Orono but his management understood Orono had Hep C and wouldn't let Masato take the fight.

If any of that recollection is wrong, it's completely my fault. It's been some time since that was all discussed, but I remember the fact that Orono having Hep C stuck out in my mind.


On a different note, hope Thailand is a blast for you.

I trained at oronos when I fought in ubon I enquired about him teaching in the uk and i was told he had hep c so couldn't fly at the time cos of medication

I enquired about him coming to teach in Uk to,I was told similar to you Robin.
