S1 UK National Title Belts Launching

I am really proud and excited to announce that I have been able to negotiate into bringing one of the most recognised and genuine Muaythai Championships to the UK - OneSongchai's S1 Championship.

From now for the first time ever fighters will be able to aim for the S1 National Title Belt for the UK - a belt that has worldwide significance and offers ALL UK Holders the chance to fight and represent the UK in the famous Ratchdamnern Stadium in Bangkok at the monthly Onesongchai shows!!!! (fighters need to pay own flights )

Along with Monthly publicity this is a great step towards putting Champions into a position of worth.

I will be hosting S1 at the Muaythai World Series events which are close to securing a long term TV contract but we are very open to working with other UK promoters who wish to host S1 Titles on their shows -

For all information please contact me through either the website at
www.muaythaiworldseries.com

lornecastle@hotmail.com

That goes for ANY promoters who wish to come in with S1 or any fighters who wish to aim for one and have the chance to fight in Bangkok and represent UK

The Female National Belt

All Female S1 Champions will have the chance to represent the UK in either the Onesongchai Kings Cup or Queens Birthday show (as females cannot fight at Ratchdamnern) - both events Internationally televised

Will these "champs" actually be ranked? Top 10 in the uk? Hope so as if these are dished out like the WBC ones then somebody is gonna get spanked at Raja :)

It is free choice for fighters and promoters which belts to go for - I personally prefer the S1 and WBC as they are recognised globally but each to their own choice - we should all aim for Muaythai to grow as a sport.

As for being "Spanked" - I dont think any of these previous fighters and champions from our events have had issues when fighting abroad - Denise Castle, Jojo Calderwood, Sally McCarthy, Bernie Mendieta.

For those that dont know the S1 and Onesongchai brand please check:

This is not another "show title" I am sorry I presumed people would know its significance

Out of curiosity, if its not a show title, what is it? Is S1 a sanctioning to governing body?

It's an annual tournament held in Thailand and organised by a major stadium promoter OneSongchai. It's usually got a top thai and some decent fighters from around the world.
It's a big show over there and is on national tv.
Steven Wakeling won it a few years back

If this Uk S1 is going ahead regardless of who's competing in it then it will dilute the prestige
