Don’t know much about Sean McKiddie? But chuck Gareth Evans in there and you have a good four man at super welterweight - Petty, Evans, McKiddie and K Jones. Although the IKF have put on an 8 man (over two shows) at super welterweight this year.

Sean campaigns at welterweight, but knowing him he'd probably still take the fights at super welter lol! Tough young guy.

after Simon Akufo`s win at the weekend surly he should now take a fight with Ryan Lyall

Also out of interest now that scott allan has moved over to pro boxing who is there in the country to fill his place and keep his title over here?

Anyone have some names for good amateur light-welter Full Con or Low kick, preferably British level?
Apart from George Hennon (mentioned above) and Dylan Moran (and Liam Wells - the reason I am asking).
Looking for Liam to have a pretty busy 2014.
Thanks

I think Dean Ford is around that weight. I've not seen him fight but he thinks he's mint ;) haha. Gary Jowers from Scorpio Kickboxing in Middlesbrough has a lad Dimitri Kalatzis who is decent and around 63 kg I think mate.

Cheers for the names Dean P, someone else to look into. Also Damien 'Dee' Mcguiness seems to be doing well in Ireland and holds an ISKA title at the weight.
Like I was saying to Dean F, we need Sam Reeve to come back.
And yeah, hopefully Dean F V Liam will happen in 2014.

Ryan Lyall v Simon Akufo is surely a must

I'd love that rematch Rob, I reckon it'll happen next year like. Matt Sam Reeve fights at 67 not 64.5 unless u meant him for Gareth? there's a lad called Sami Salem fights at 64 I think, I think his gym is called scorpions but I dunno where they're based.

Unfortunaley Liam has already fought and beaten Sami, a good lad though. Ha Gareth would shoot me if I said he had to make 67, took him long enough to move down to 69 :). Cheers anyway Dean

Hi Jamie, I've heard Taylor is good. Liam fights at 64.5 though, unless could meet at 66 as liam makes 64.5 easy and wouldnt hit 66. Cheers Matt

Just out of interest, who will be active this year between 64-66kg?
MattUK
Posted: 2013-12-19 06:34:45
Tyler Oxford from Colin Paynes TKO will be really good in the category. He is only 17 I think but I think he will do really well IMO at 64.5kg.
