We will be creating a new system over the next few weeks that will enable fighters to sign up to our website with their details.

There will be a new search facility for promoters to find fighters who are currently active and need a last minute replacement instead of tearing their hair out ringing around gyms which can take up allot of promoters time.

Fighters will have the ability to upload their own picture for future visual fight cards, which we have recently created. And also their own profile page.

What are your thoughts on this? Any feedback would be great.

A really good idea. I will enter our fighters details. Noticed there isnt a place to enter normal fighting weight? Or range of fighting weights?
And just an idea, but what about a last active date?

I'm guessing you have seen the current fighter profile form that's online at the moment. This was done a few months ago which started collecting details but want to move forward with this and take a different approach with this. :)

Any other ideas would be great.

Nice one. To be honest I started planning something very similar a while back.
A photo is always good. The last active date helps to see 1) how up-to-date the fighter details are 2) If they haven’t fought for a very long time they might not be in training so will probably be further down a promoters list for contacting over someone active.
Its good you have put in an option to put in the record for all styles as well.
A boxrec style database for kickboxing/MT/K1 rules is long overdue.

Just wanted to make a website that would cater for all styles and give all local fighters and shows the recognition they deserve. Will be working on this all week so will give everyone an update as I go along.
