Has anyone on AX ever seen this boy fight. He is only 19 y.o. but let me tell ya, he is the next one to watch. He comes from the Ling-Ho Gym in Holland. I think Albert Kraus trained there. The trainer is John De Ling, very good trainer. Met them in Japan last week at a Shootboxing promotion where one of my fighters Also fought.

PS....Thats me in the middle

alan, dirk,

believe me this guy is superior and if he would continue in this way he will be the second dekers (I mean only the success , not the style...)

No offense, but in what event do you win a teddy bear? :)

Hey Dirk,

Where did you get that picture of Ogata on the floor after the fight. Were you there or you are just a wizard in getting hard to get pics.

Yes, he can be the next Ramon Dekkers. In fact he fights a little like Dekkers. Good thinking fighter too.

PJ, as for the Teddy Bear, you'll have to ask Andy. Seriously, that is his mascot and the Japanese loves it. A business potential don't you think!!!

Is that the Japanese fighter who fought in Australia recently against Shannon Forrester and cut him badly with elbows?

Yes it was, I think he is now going to fight Bruce Mc Fie on the gold coast, which will be a cracker as both these fighters are fast and furious and just keep throwing them. Money is on Bruce.

The Japanese in the 2nd photo on the right isn’t the proposed fighter set to take on Bruce McPhie. The fighter in question is Shishido whom fought Shannon Forrestor. Kenichi Ogata fought Daniel Dawson last December at the Jupiter Casino – Gold Coast.

Andy Souwer is a very talented fighter it was amazing to see him fight live and just watch him go to work. I couldn’t believe that he was only 19 and he fought like a veteran. Personally he doesn’t fight like Ramon Dekker. Dekker fights with aggression and intensity. Andy fights more of a relaxed Basic to Advanced Thai style. I can’t make a comparison to any of the great legends before him. He’s pretty much unique. He will go down in history as one of the greatest Western Muay Thai fighters of all time.

Did I mention he has a mean left body rip?

See you on the moon…

Andy Souwer

Is a good one, He fought 1 of your English K1 Favourites on Dean Whites promotions when he was 15yrs old.

He also was fighting A-Classe when he was 15yrs old also.

He fought Neil Wood and win pts, John-De-Ling as a very good camp.

Andy Souwer suffered a havy K.O. against Veselic. It was few years ago.He was only 15.I think so, because I didn't believed a fighter so young could stand any chances against Veselic. It was obvious that he'll be a great fighter if he survives and that's egzactly what happened. He's back in great style. It would be interesting to see him against Veselic soon.

I think Veselic is still too strong for him .

It was 2yrs ago he fought him he was 17yrs not 15yrs then.

I think Andy as 2 world titles along with Marcel Doomernik they are 2 of Holland top fighters both from the Ling-Ho gym in Den Bosh Holland

Anyone has the complete results of this event?

How did Goto do?

Goto won by submission in the 5th round against Sanda Champion John IGO from China. Basically John tapped out when Goto managed to lock his arm in a very painful position. Even without the submission, Goto would have won easily on points as the Chinese fighter was hurt in the 3rd round by some good body rip and a hard knee to his right side.
