The commission has not given its final aproval as of friday.

They have hinted that they will aprove one of the 12 organizations on the list very soon.

They said that they will send me A letter aproving events under this organization after they meet and make A final decission.

I will post the information as soon as I get the final aproval from the commission.

If it goes thru I will begin to plan A large event for march or april depending on if Joe Pulio does his event in march which I am supposed to fight on.

This has gotten to the point beyond silly, it's almost criminal! So now the organizations on the "approved list" arent' even approved? That's pretty F-ed up

They said that they still wanted there rules and had some questions before they would allow me to sanction with them.

The organization has complied with all of there questions and now we are waiting for there aproval.

so, Tommy, if say just this one organization gets accepted, and it's American FC rules, what about the other styles??

the athletic commission is really being difficult with what they want to interpret, they want to interpret the list, but not the part about how they have to establish rules to let other organizations in

there's something behind this, something corrupt

The organization is not Full contact as I do not know of any large organization except for Thai/Sanshou that only have 1 style .Most of the major organiztions have Full contact/Low kick/Thai as does this one.

I spoke to them today and they said that they have A verbal aproval and should have it in writing by Friday.

The commission has told me that when they make it official they will also send me A letter aproving my events with there sanctioning. They have also said that if you use an organization on the list you will still be able to do events with A liquir license.

I am trying to be patient. They have told me that it shopuld be settled by next week many times before..

The commission has given verbal aproval for 1 of the 12 organizations on the list.I am waiting for it in writing to the oganization and to me before I plan an event.

They told me recently that it looked like they where going to aprove the organization and then they would give me it in writing that I could do events under there sanctioning.

I think that it will work like this:

1.) They will aprove the organization in writing.

2.) Then promoters will have to submit to them your event, venue, aproved santioning body, date etc.

3.) Then they will have to send you in writing an aproval. As long as you have the aproval from the commission in hand there will be no problems with Police or the Liquer athority as far as Mr Spindola has told me.

Weather I agree with this list or not. This is the only way that we will be able to do any events in NY until someone leagally challenges the list or it changes in Albany which I have always known will not happen by the spring as some have said.

I have been told by some that they are seeking to reatain attorneys to challenge the list.

I agree with the challenge that there in no way should be an aproved list that can not be added to or deleted from by the NYS athletic control board which is the regulating body that is trying to now regulate our sport.
It stated clearly in the law that they are using that they have the ability to add sanctioning bodies to the list if they meet the requirements as we all know that USKBA /IKF / ISKA all meet easily.
