is the NYSAC still controlling kickboxing in NY

Any new york fighter/promoters know whats going on with the New York State Athlethic Commission. Are you still not allowed to promote a kickboxing,mma etc..show without their permission.. Would they still try to stop an event..

why is it that the NYSAC won't allow san shou events in New York? What's the big deal..? Its just kickboxing with throwing technique allowed..? And what was the purpose that all of a sudden, when kickboxing events were being held in New York for quite sometime now, that the NYSAC wants to ruin evrything and control things..? The sport was doing fine before without them!!
