changpeuk weerasaklek
Anyone know about this guy, if he's still fighting? I used to train with this guy in a gym outside bangkok and have just seen his name on a k1 website. I know he won his k1 fight in japan as i was training at the gym when he was getting ready for it, an absolute beast for sure, like most 70kg thais not training much but a good match for most i'd imagine. Does anyone know if he's fought any of the high calibre western names (i'd like to know if westerners are at that level yet!) any news appreciated, cheers.

Last year he was a trainer and fighter at Weerasaklek Gym in Tokyo. He is also known as Khundej Sor Sriprasert.

He fought on a K1 Max event last year where he Ko'd Takashi Ohno(Japan) and has fought in Japan a few times. He also fought on the King's birthday a couple of years ago, where he Ko'd a Chinese fighter.

Thanks for the pics, i felt some of that power and that was bad enough, has anyone thought of matching him against some of the french or aussie boys that seem to be dominating the 70kg area? The guy holding his arm up I only know as 'A' a top man who looked after me well he even got me a fight a ratchadamnern when i was training there!

Fahad sounds familiar but a few too many elbows has left me with a crap memory can you jog my memory, where you from? Too answer your question i'm pretty good right now, i smashed my knee real bad last december and had to pull out of a big fight and come home, i had my first fight in a while back in sept against mark beale the guy who won the k1 rescently, i hadn't really been able to prepare for the fight as i'm just training in bristol twice a week and i never really got in the fight and it was stopped in the 2nd. I've just been and visited Bill judds gym in London and loved it so will hopefuly move there in jan and get on the fight scene as soon as poss, seems strange asking someone i can't remember how there doing but hows things are you fighting? where do you train? All the best anyway Jonolannaboxing.

Hey Dado, i'm 23 and was 22 when i did my knee, i was thrown knee first onto a nail head when clinching before a fight, having the thin foam and canvas of the ring saved my knee but it still gave me hell for a long time. I probably didn't help it by trying to get over the dissapointment of having my big fight cancelled buy taking a fight the day before i left, i couldn't walk after the 1st but my manager was quite drunk and decided i should keep fighting, i used my elbows so much i got bursitis in both elbows cut him twice and still f**king lost the decision! If you have knee probs get specialist help, it ain't cheap but it works, i had accupuncture, electro something or other and lots of deep tissue masssage, it turns out the knee cap was o.k and i just had some scar tissue that needed work. I had a friend who was in his late 20's who used to fight regularly and it took him ages to recover from anything allthough he was probably in peak physical condition, i reckon i'll quit before then!

I had the ligament problem at that age.Acupuncture in combination with electro treatments (probably magnetic resonance-I'm not a doctor)is a good solution; but there's one think I'm sure helps in almost every situation-HOMEOPATY.Your fighting career won't exactly help to heel your knee, so this could help(homeopatic preparations).
