SUPER FIGHTS:
WAKO PRO world Thai/kickboxing title till 71,8 kg
Peter Kaljevic ( USA ), challenger vs Stefano Stradella ( Italy )
Champion Stradella won easily this fight with unanimous decision against opponent who was not on the level for this title fight.
KING OF THE RING ? independent super world title till 70 kg under Kick rules
Michael Zambidis ( Greece ), European KING OF THE RING ( Japanese rules )
vs
Wanlop Sosathapan ( Thailand ), World champion KING OF THE RING 72,5 kg ( Japanese rules )
For sure the best fight of the evening with two top class champions where Michael Zambidis won this fight unanimously on points after Wanlop was two times on the floor in 4th round. Beside that, all credits goes to Wanlop as well as taking in consideration that due to some visa and travel problems he arrived in the morning of the day of the fight, he gave excellent fight and even won the last 5th round in a discipline and weight category which was not his favourite one. This level of the fighters proof the difference and quality of the independent super star rankings which are reserved only for the best.
Prestige fight Thai/kickboxing rules till 81 kg
Aurelien Duarte ( France ) vs Frederick Rosenberg ( Sweden )
Aurelien Duarte proof once more that he is one of the best fighters in the world till 80 kg and despite his injury, his comeback was more than good. Although Rosemberg is not un experienced fighter, Duarte caught him immediately in first round with one excellent middle kick after which Rosenberg was counted. It was sign for very close end which arrived in 2nd round by very precise punch which put definitely down Rosenberg.

REMARKS:
Another very good show from a series KICKBOXING SUPERSTAR organised by Mr. Lino Guaglianone with full support from INTERNATIONAL TOP STAR PROMOTIONS by Mr. Harry Gorian as official matchmaker , with some great fights. Matchmaking was very good and most of the fights were very close ( specially fights in the tournament ).
Biggest positive surprise:
Babis Papadoupolous from Greece was biggest positive surprise as he gave excellent fight against living legend Changpeuk Kiatsonglit. Obviously not his speciality, Babis show great technical skills ( specially excellent kicking abilities ) and courage and definitely he showed that he can fight with the best fighters in the world. In any case, we will hear about this excellent fighter more.
Biggest negative surprise:
Regarding his big reputation, Changpeuk Kiatsonglit didn?t show a lot although we must admit that he was tierd as he arrived in the morning of the event. In any case he has qualified for emi finals and we hope we will see another Changpeuk.
Best fighter:
Michael Zambidis from Greece deserve that title as he is definitely one of the best if not the best fighter in the world till 70 kg.
Best fight:
Michael Zambidis ( Greece ) vs Wanlop Sosathapan ( Thailand )
Excellent fight, where Zambidis shoed no respect to Wanlop and from first second of first round showed that he intend to finish this fight as quick as possible. Despite of some excellent punches and kicks received from Zambidis, Wanlop was willing to accept such fight and he was trying to avoid dangerous punches of Zambidis and with very powerful kicks to stop him. Unfortunately for Wanlop, in round 4 Zambidis succeeded to put two times Wanlop on the floor with precise and very powerful punches and only thanks to great physical and mental preparation for this fight Wanlop succeeded to survive. Even seriously damaged, he succeeded to win last round but putting Zambidis in defence hopping to find miraculous kick or punch which could put Zambidis down. At the end, Zambidis won unanimously the fight and as a real champion, Wanlop by himself putted the belt of the KING OF THE RING around Zambidis showing that he really respect him as the best fighter in the world.
