Noodles, I am guessing that the ref sees far more brutality in the fights in thailand and does not feel that a fight should be stopped. In the west we are more safety concious which is good. But the thais are tough, they start young and know what they are in for.

I am not disagreeing with you but I dont think any of the thais would have expected to get looked after by the ref as it may not be what they are used to (possibly).
