Hi Highlander,

I will tell you for sure that you are not the only one to come across this, I teach Mauy Thai, but Kickboxing clubs around here are so common, I mean every instructor is a Kickboxing champion or world Martial Arts champion, even some who claim to be 6th & 7 th Dan Karate Instructors!

It is so sad that the only people who really suffer are the students who these people teach, I have come across a lot of prejudice from students at other clubs who have been told not to train with me because they will get beaten up and rubbish like that*. All these instructors are doing is setting themself up for a fall, students who have a mind of their own will find out about them and hopefully the word will spread, so that honest and qualified instructors can teach their chsen Arts.

*When students from otehr clubs have turned up and trained with us, we always have compliments on how well they have been treated and how much they enjoyed their training with us, which obviously spreads the light a bit more about bogus instructors.

Hope it works out for you,
Tony.
