cheers everyone for your support. It was a real buzz fighting Ozkan on a Tarik Solak promotion. I have the upmost respect for both Tarik and Gurkan as both of them are true gentlemen of the sport. The treatment given to both me and my team in Melbourne was well beyond the usual treatment of fighters.

Although i lost the fight on the score cards i felt really good fighting at this weight again (78kg rather than 70kg) and was able to take Gurkan's best punches and come back with my own.

Gurkan is a very cleaver fighter who plays mind games with you in the ring, he is very good at disguising when he is hurt and stealing rounds by coming on stong at the end of each round.

Well its back to the gym now and i look forward to k1 nz vs oz, thanks Hape for your support in the corner on Sunday, my hands felt great!!
