higlander i know what your talking about i have come across these types of idiots before when i did my first class of kyokushin the instructor asked me what style i have done before and i said muay-thai so later on in the lesson he made people group off with a sparring partener and he said to me you can spar with me he told me thaiboxing was no good and that kyokushin is better because mas oyama could KO bulls so i spared him and he had this really wide stance so i leg kicked him and he got angry and sweeped me to the florr when i got up he tried to ax kick me and missed i threw a head kick and he blocked it with an open hand and it dislocated his thumb and he got the shits and was imbarassed in front of his students.
Then when i went back the next time he would try to single me out and make
a fool out of me he tryed to show me his way of getting out of a bear hug man it was sad. so i never went back he was just in it for the money i think and to try and prove that he could be hardcore.
