So get your tickets early & also book your accomadation as Taupo is a NZ top tourist destination & 31st july is the peak of the ski season which brings alot of people to town plus it is the weekend of the levines half marathon which also brings alot of people in.
Make a weekend of it and do abit of skiing while you are here, Only 45min to the ski fields of Ruapehu.
