Guys, I think you must have seen a different fight than I saw or else your hatred of dennis is so strong you can't see straight. Dennis came out fast like he always does. He started to pick up the pace like he always does. Cikitic started to wilt. There are two blows that you can't see on the film because of poor camera work. You see Dennis start to kick the you see cikitics head fly by you see his head fly back again and both time the announcer go wooooo! I don't know what hit cikitic but he is obviously very hurt. When the ref breaks them Cik turns his back to Dennis and lays over the rope. Later when the controversy happens. The ref breaks them , then the ref signals fight, Cik tries to get a break by turning to complain to the ref and Dennis lets a punch fly. The ref tries to stop Dennis in mid punch but it is to late. Dennis does throw a punch and a kick after this both of which miss. But the punch that landed was legal. Dennis could not be expected to stop in mid punch. Yes Cik did turn to the ref but the ref had already signaled fight. Dennis should not have thrown the 2nd punch or the kick but they missed any way. Cikitic knew he was in deep sh** he tried to lay down and get Dennis disqualified. His corner Tom H immediately jumped in the ring. This should have been an immediate d.q. of cikitic. Cikitic is a god in Japan. But Don Wilson knocked him out and Dennis was well on his way to knocking him out. Guy get over your hatred and jealously of Dennis. Dennis 41 years old but he could still beat many K-1 stars if they fought him under full contact rules for 12 rounds. A few years ago he would have beaten most of them if not all of them. Yes they might beat Dennis under K-1 rules for 3 or 5 round.
It is a different game. Not better just different. I have worked the trained and worked the corner of a Dennis opponent. Believe me Dennis hits harder then anyone in in american kickboxing.
