Kickshoot said it perfectly and why would anyone say the rules were gray or bad , they were the same as the K-1 but with no kneees to the head or clinch and everyone knew the rules before the fight. Maurice Smith, Kathy Long and Peter Cunningham all had bouts on the undercard and did not have any problems with the rules. Besides that Dennis is a FC Champ. so this was a much bigger change for him than it was for a Muay Thai Champ like Branko Cikatic. He just felt Alexios power early and wanted no more. Any fighter that turns his back on another and starts talking when the Ref has clearly orderd the fight to continue is just looking for a way to quit.

This card happened March 1992 on PPV a year before the first K-1 (which Cikatic won) so no one can say Dennis took a soft touch that night.
